Induced pulse voltage protection device (lightning protection) TWIST LG-485 is used to protect video equipment from high-voltage surge in the line caused by electrostatic charge, lightning, strong electromagnetic fields, high voltage pulse induction.
For proper operation the device requires a mandatory signal grounding.
The device connects to the break in the transmission line, next to the protected device. Direction of connection is very important and indicated at the box (Cable: to the line, Device: to protected device). To protect the channel of source (eg. camera) and receiver (eg. video server) connection requires the use of two lightning protection devices. Ground terminal requires mandatory connection to the contour of the ground. Otherwise, the protection equipment is not guaranteed.
